The Village of Balsam Lake Fire Department is a department with approximately 25 members that are all trained through varying levels from Entry level Firefighter, State Firefighter, Firefighter II, Fire inspector. etc.. With refresher courses in Haz-Mat, CPR and others taken throughout the year. The Village of Balsam Lake Fire department is a volunteer department to anyone willing to be Wisconsin state certified and give their time to help protect the Village and surrounding townships.
